Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ScoreMiles. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScoreMiles mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by ScoreMiles ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

ScoreMiles is a personal finance tool that helps users track and evaluate loyalty points redemptions. The Service allows you to:

Log flight and hotel redemptions made with loyalty points
Calculate cents-per-point (CPP) value for redemptions
View analytics and statistics about your redemption history
Export and share trip summaries
Use a redemption calculator to evaluate potential bookings

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To use ScoreMiles, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

ScoreMiles offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with full access.

Free tier includes: up to 2 trips, up to 10 redemptions, basic flight and hotel tracking, and notes.

ScoreMiles Pro includes all features: unlimited trips and redemptions, redemption calculator, stats and analytics, document scanning, PDF export, and sharing.

Subscription terms:

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($4.99/month) or annually ($39.99/year)
A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law

5. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Important: ScoreMiles provides CPP calculations and redemption grades based on community-sourced benchmarks. These are guidelines only and do not constitute financial advice. Actual redemption values vary based on availability, routing, cabin class, transfer partners, and other factors. Always verify redemption values independently before making booking decisions.

We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any redemption benchmarks, grade thresholds, or valuations provided in the app.

6. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the app
Use automated tools to access or scrape the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service to store false, inaccurate, or misleading information intentionally

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

ScoreMiles and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ScoreMiles and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your redemption data remains your own. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. PRIVACY

Your use of ScoreMiles is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCOREMILES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or if we determine your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the platform. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending an email to your registered address. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
